“This little guy did so much better with his PT session after riding for 15 minutes! ”
Erin Hatley
Executive Director, The Vine School
Both the Vine School (which offers the Bridge Program) and the Rise School in Corpus Christi, TX, each received a MiraColt in March 2021. The schools admit both children with developmental delays and traditional learners into a co-opted non-discriminate learning environment that seeks to provide children with a disability the opportunity to grow their fullest potential. They provide therapeutic, research-driven instructional programs in a supportive and structured learning environment to achieve the best possible outcomes for their learners.
Having the MiraColts at both centers has been more than just a buzz at both centers. They have provided complementary options to the therapeutic interventions available to the children that were not possible before. The MiraColt, inspired by the benefits of horseback riding in Hippotherapy for children with Autism, as a simulator, delivers much needed sensorimotor and proiprioceptive stimulation that are significantly important in therapeutic intervention for children with Autism Cerebral Palsy, and other neuro and sensory-motor related disabilities.
